FS: Ticino Big Pilot Handwinding watch

For Sale: my white dialed Ticino Big Pilot handwinder:

This sizeable watch measures 47mm across (without the crown), has 22mm lug spacing, and features an asian handwinding movement with the seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock. The watch runs accurately, and has a very long power reserve - longer than most of my genuine swiss Unitas movement watches. Just like the swiss movements, this one does not hack.

The watch has a display back, with the movement being decorated with Cote de Geneve stripes and blued screws. Overall, it's a very attractive movement!

The crown is very large, as typical for flieger watches. Super easy to grip and set time / handwind.

The watch itself is in very good condition. There are some minor scratches on the metal of the caseback, and a mark on the top left lug (see pic below). Both top and bottom mineral crystals are free of any scratches / imperfections. With the scratch on the lug, I would rate it at 90%.

Not to insult, but is this a knock-off/replica of the IWC big pilot?

Homage watch is another way to put it. Here's an interesting article comparing designer aviation watches with an aviation heritage to aviation watches. http://tinyurl.com/opauxu Apparently IWC only made 1000 or so Big Pilots in the 40's http://tinyurl.com/lf3g9n also http://www.homageforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=52 is of interest
