I am headed (no pun intended) of to India's sunny climes for a bit of Enlightenment soon and I recall from earlier excursions the old hole in the floor for the Jakes. China has much of the same thing if you can outrun the progress.
I do believe that this is a much more civilized and healthy system than the toilet in the western world.
Your thoughts on toilets across the world would be most welcome as I prepare for my pilgrimage.
