what the hell is his deal. reasonable doubt = amazing, but now he has nonexistant flows and HORRIBLE lyricism. ridiculously bad.

inb4 other BP I love RD, don't really listen to his other stuff, don't like over produced glossy beats. Blueprint was good, Vol 1-3 were okay, don't get the love for Black Album, KC and AG were kinda lame.

He got old.

He probably lost his focus having lots and lots of sex with this....

I, for one, don't blame him.

howard stern syndrome. he was funny when he was a regualr jerk off, married to a wife who didn;t fuck him. then he married an ugly model and got richer than god.

fuck does jay-z have to rap about anymore? tough life, i know...

I don't understand all the hate for his recent stuff. Granted, the Blueprint 3 isn't Reasonable Doubt, but Jay-Z would be the first to tell you that it isn't intended to be.

I actually saw him on Bill Mahrer the week before last. I don't normally watch it, but I left the TV on after entourage and it was Jay-Z so i decided to watch one last show before bed. He basically admitted as much. In his own words he basically said that when he was young and poor he had an edgy quality that's gone with the hardship that used to be part of his life.

glad that he is honest with himself rather than trying to "keep it real"

Alot of rappers have this problem, 1st album they are hungry and are creative, they eventually just run out of ideas. I could name countless examples. Kinda depressing

I haven't listened to rap in forever, but I liked Jay-Z back in the day. He seemed quite self-aware and remarkably humble considering how much he's achieved.
