How much do you care about politics, world events, and the news?

I used to care more. I neither have the time nor inclination to read as much these days. I have too much technical reading to do.

I hate politics, but I do like to know what is going on in the world.

it is very important nowadays, because the rate at which we are going down the crapper is alarming. however, i would say it's more important to follow the general trend of politics and world events rather than nitpick at specifics "events". i liken it to dwelling over the symptoms rather than seeking the cause of disease.

I really don't care all that much. I learn about major stories because I don't really have a choice in that it's rammed down my throat by everyone talking about it. I don't actively pursue the news though except for rare occasions like this healthcare debate where I will look up stuff every now and then.
