Go Bucks!!!

Heh, you too? You forgot to mention the real reason OSU lost -- Vince Vaughn.

Right when they decided to show him up on the big screen decked out in OSU gear from the sidelines, USC started their drive to score the final TD. As the drive progressed, you could hear people in my section yelling for Vaughn for take off his OSU shirt.

Mitch Mustain played in a spread offense in high school and Arkansas, and had difficulty transistioning to the pro-style offense SC uses. SC probably wasn't the best fit for his skill set, and he should have transferred to a school that used a spread offense.

As an Arizona State fan, I hate USC but as a Michigan fan, I hate Ohio State, so I'm just rooting for a good game

I was watching that Michigan-Notre Dame game, and I was blown away by Michigan's freshman QB, Forcier. He single handedly willed an inferior Michigan team that was missing its top two receivers to a win.

The irony is that if Pryor had picked Michigan instead of Ohio State, we probably don't ever see Forcier play even though Forcier looks he's already the better QB as a freshman. Then, again, if Pryor had picked Michigan, Michigan probably wins more than three games last year.

Pryor may be a phenomenal athelete, but as a QB, his mechanics and footwork are awful. If OSU had another QB, they should have won that game against SC.

Yeah and if USC had Mark Sanchez this game would be another rout . The what if game is retarded.

I hate to agree, but... it's true. It was a lose-lose game for the Bucks. If we lost, which we did, Tressel is still the bitch of any top 10 program he faces. If we won, we beat a rebuilding USC team with a true freshman QB at home. So the sun shines on a dog's ass some days. Still... there are over 110 teams in college football, I'm pretty lucky to be a fan of a team that gets talked about on the news every week, is nationally ranked every year, and has a legit chance to make a run to compete for a national championship at least 1/3 years. If I did not go to OSU, I would have gone to Rutgers or Purdue.

Excellent post.

I agree with all your just about everything you said, except for USC dropping one this year. This game, this team has a different vibe to it. We usually struggle in the Pac-10 road opener (Pete Carroll is 4-4 in P-10 road openers), so next weeks should be very telling as to their ability to play at the same level to inferior opposition.

Sorry embowafa.... make that 4-5. Can't really blame them with Mays and Barkley both out.... but I did not mean to be so prescient.
