It feels quite big through the body and is long in the sleeves. I kept "hearing" your post in my head about just going w/ a size and sometimes having it be looser and sometimes more fitted, but this one just feels kinda sloppy to me. It's exacerbated (in my mind anyway) by how thick and chunky the knit is--even more so than Starks, etc (though there are a few of the big cardigans I've not handled).

On the one hand, I don't need to overthink it. On the other, I do care about having things fit in a way that's pleasing to me. Either way, it's suddenly seeming more and more like spring everyday so this piece may just sit for a while anyway...

Makes sense. I am the same weight as you, but 4" shorter. I should probably be 5-10 lbs lighter, but but even so, I probably have a lot more chest and back.

Goit my Ion crew. Thick as hell! Amazing fabric. But jesus, size Large feels huge on me. May just have to put it in the closet until next fall and then re-asses/sell.

Good deals on a couple items still in stock over at Mutiny DC...

yeah, I was surprised by how large it fit:

I took an XL in old stark and old fisherman zip, this is a L in the ion cardigan

you can sorta see the shoulder seam falls just past my shoulders in this. fit works through the chest, but overall fits pretty similar to my old stark in XL

Thanks for the heads up, I checked it out, but nothing I'm really into right now. I saw a bunch of deals at Roden Gray a few weeks ago, but slept on it because I wasn't 100% on the sizing, and i've been saving up for a new pair of boots. I'll likely just wait till the FW2014 collection, then look for some stuff.

Well I know about a good deal on an Ion crew in your size...

Am i interpreting this correctly? new stark XLs have a ~19 in chest? Do we really need to size up 2 from our regular size (i generally wear a Medium, maybe 39" chest).

I like this. (via Unionmade)

The Ion blanket arrived, it's really stretchy and nice.  I'm not sure I would've been happy with it at retail, though.

I like this colour.

Anyone know where I can pick up a Fang in L? I'm assuming that'd be my size since I take Inverallans in L/42 as well.
