SNS Herning- fits? - Page 316

Haven't they done that before? IIRC NOBD and some other people own it.

SNS chunky ass knits and spring/summer are just fundamentally opposed

SS is boring fashion wise across the board though

Isn't the beauty of a Stark the heavy knit? Unsure if they would be able to pull off that knit pattern in a more lightweight construction.

I do like some summer pieces but they are clearly more on the understated side (The "flashy" side like the three colored piece posted earlier are just wrong and boring). Living in LA, I need some light weight stuff and the Balance is a fantastic basics piece. I also like the Babel in lavender. Love the color and think it is as good as the AW's Moment. But don't get me going on those shorts ...

I have the hardest time using my Navy Stark as a layer. It just doesn't seem to look right with the high neck roll. How do you guys layer yours? Or is it meant to be worn as an outerwear alone?

Looks best as outerwear IMO

I have a hard time layering mine as well!

Was Fall 2012 the last time the purple Stark was made? Really hoping they make that again this fall!

I mostly agree, but you can layer w/ parkas/jackets that have a built in hood. When the high neck sticks up over a shorter collared piece it can look really odd, but when the longer neck of a hooded jacket is zipped/buttoned up, it creates a more uniform visual and works well (eg. I wear my Stark w/ my W+H mtn. parka from a few seasons ago and they work well together).

i wear my Stark with my TOJ A2 without the shearling collar all the time in the winter.  It looks odd with the shearling attached.

the Stark collar still sticks over the jacket collar a bit but it works.

Can the high neck be flipped down? If not I guess you can always cover it up with a scarf.

I wear my stark mostly under my Arcteryx Veilance insulated field coat. Or under a thick wool RL blazer with the collar up.

How does the ion cardigan fit? I'm eyeing a medium but I'm usually a small in other brands (5'8", 140lb, 39" chest).

Ion runs larger than other SNS herning items. I'm usually wear XS and the ion cardigan in S does not fit me correctly because it's too big.
