SNS Herning- fits? - Page 299

^ would be too big on you. Ion is a generous fitting cardigan. Not sure about the "slim fit" description on the UM site. Mr. porter also described the ion as "slim fitting, take regular size" and I'm sure some here could take a size smaller. Mr.p also described the stark "as slim fitting, take regular size"

For those of us who really pay attention to fit, measurements and sizing, "Take your regular size" is the most useless piece of advice a site could possibly offer, for any item or brand.

Really? That's so weird. I'm 6'1" 42" chest with a 74" wingspan and the medium worked well with a folded cuff. The sleeve sat right at the base of my thumb. The carpametacarpal joint I guess. Which I think is where yours sits too?

It fit slightly looser than how you're rocking yours, the sleeve, the body, everywhere. There was a little bunching at the cuff. With it folded. But honestly I'm not exactly how far off the shoulders were. Not more than 1/2 I expect. And now that I think about it the cuff didn't look as long as the stark's. Who knows maybe somebody had stretched the sleeves out.

larayonfrais still has a medium in blue if anybody's interested

Sometimes something is meant to fit tighter, sometimes, looser.  I choose one or the other, or get a M, and let the chips fall where they fall.  Makes for a more diverse wardrobe, if nothing else.

I dunno.  You've seen the fit on me - there is a crappy picture on this thread somewhere.

mr p sizing recs/measurements are hit or miss at best and useless at worst...ordered a topcoat a couple weeks back listed as having a 44" chest measurement in size L, chest ended up measuring 40"

Henrik Vibskov in NYC has lots of Starks in sizes Large and XL.

They're all 50%, so around $175.00

Saw black, grey mix, and a few others there. Also some sweaters...

For anyone who can help , I am 5'9 and 175 pounds, does a medium sound right for a stark?

^The new fit stark's Medium will probably be too tight for you. I would go for a large, or maybe even an xl.

Thank you, I think a large might be best .  I am usually a medium in brands like J Crew.  Stark fit these days quite slim?

They're fitting very slim. I would suggest a large, but please keep in mind that they fit very long

The newer Starks do not fit long at all, they are very cropped compared to the previous models.

That hasn't been my experience, but perhaps mine is a bit unusual.
