41" chest, and the Fisherman in large was extremely tight in the pits. Normal?

depends on what 'extremely tight' means to you

got mine in an XL w a 44 chest last year and was very slim throughout, and crazy slim through the sleeves. has since stretched some, but still very slim--no way near as comfy a fit as my stark, but what you'd expect given it's an obviously tighter weave.

think in general, this one is supposed to fit slimmer. given the shoulders on this fall where they ought tot, couldn't have sized up to a XXL really

fisherman is supposed to be drop shoulder.

want dat blanket

I been looking at blankets a lot lately but I'd have no use for an sns one unless I wanted to fry in bed. Love dope throws too man but hard to judge how they'll feel before copping.

Just picked up a AW13 Stark in Medium.  I'm 5'11" and 160 but with a pretty broad back and the medium fits perfectly.  It stretches but never feels constricted, so it feels fine over just a tee or a button down.

Also one thing I noticed, was that the wool smelled like sheep!  After growing up with sheep, smelling that was a nice surprise.

Hey man! It literally feels like the Stark cardigan.

if it were me, I'd just go with some RH shit

have one of these and, wearing my stark know, feels pretty similar, though more tightly knit. def a better value at $60 on sale than a stark throw at $360 (though SNS throw has a certain cool factor), and it's been awesome for winter on the couch/chair

I don't know if I'd want a blanket that felt like my stark... doesn't sound cozy at all.

Crosspost from recent purchases:

SNS Herning fisherman crew neck in triple grey mix

I ALMOST bought this in straight black because I am a boring person and wanted a boring black sweater but I thought on it a week and when I came back the black was sold out. It looks a little noisy by itself but it does a decent job of adding some texture underneath a boring outfit

anyone seen the triple grey stark available in medium anywhere?
^I like the triple grey.

I like that fit a lot nicely. Cut on those denim is really good/good on you. What are they again?

Thanks, they're Kazuyuki Kumagai Attachment drop-crotch jeans.. I sized down from my normal size and just wear them as high-waisted regular jeans with a roomy top-block.
