Maybe I'm used to the cold because I live in Edmonton, but I find I don't even dig out my SNS Amalgam until it's below 10 °C. I'd prolly only layer over it if it was extremely windy or close to 0; the heavy knits are that substantial. Sometimes I wish I was less cold-tolerant so I could get more wear out of my knits and jackets lookaround.gif Then again, people wear t-shirts and unlined cotton jackets until it dips below freezing around here.

I don't think that anyone, ourselves included, have really managed to capture the complexity of the color. It's a dark red, but it is definitely more interesting than the pictures on the Hostem site. And I have no idea who they styled it oversized. The construction of the shoulders, in particular, indicates that it is meant to be worn fitted. I wonder if it's just a matter of habit. On the other side, I sometimes see guys wearing nearly skin tight Yamamoto, which looks sorta odd.

How does the Lure sweater compare to the fisherman?

It's quite a bit lighter. I'll try to get a decent picture up when I get home next week.

2 are actually torsos and the green is a paragon shawl I think

I want a reddish color way this fall too, indigo and cotton cancelled my stark order with code, anybody get their order filled?

I may have overpromised when I said I'd get a decent picture of the Lure up, but hopefully this at least gives an idea of the texture:

As Fok has mentioned, the oxblood is really hard to capture. It's definitely a light sweater by SNS standards.

got my new Fisherman zip in today - size small fits perfectly

any other colors for the ion besides oxblood and navy?
