SNS Herning- fits? - Page 22

I am 195 cm (6'5") 80 kg (175 lbs) and I wear a Stark in XL. Its quite long and Im in doubt every now and then wether I really should have a L or XL, but people around me says that it fits great.. I think it is a nice fit a the moment but what happens if it stretches? Does it stretch? Idk, maybe Ill post a fit pic...

none of mine have stretched in length but i assume they would/could if you were to try. i think cuz of the stretch in the material alot of people could go down one but its fine as is. i personally always go with Small cuz availability of XS was always sketch when i tried.

thanks but it does stretch and it is slightly long ... it can billow at the waist slightly

has anyone risked washing/drying to induce shrinkage?

Quick, return the purse in the background to the lady who left it there!

When I bought my Stark, I was kinda iffy about it..especially since I saw the model on Tres Bien wearing a small and it looked long on him and he was listed at 6'1''. I'm 5'9''-10'' and it's a good fit.

i'm also 5"8 but i been holding out for a xs but the small looks pretty good on you. what size do you usually wear for boo and gitman vintage? i think the purse is a nice touch.

i wear small across the board for pretty much every brand ... epaulet, wvg, gitman vintage, gant rugger ... dont own boo. i also wear an XS in EG and WWM but thats cuz their sizing is boxy. im a 36r.

if you can find XS go for it. i just hate waiting and couldnt ever find my size at the time i was buying. i think if XS was more readily avialable and i could go back i may have gone that route. but i only wear these when i am layering and having these as layered pieces makes it fine to be slightly long. chest is fine since its stretchy. its just the length that could be shorter.

yea i'll hold out for a xs i wear that across the board too. just i have yet to see xs in stock i think i seen it once for the black stark but i wanted any color but black.

I just picked up a marked shawl in M - and I'm 6'2", 220 lbs. It fits great. On the other hand, the Stark in M was (unfortunately) too slim. If anyone's in Boston, The Tannery in Harvard Square has great deals on these. Marked shawl for $140, Stark cardigan for $110. Only mediums left in the cardigan, in gray, and an XL in the shawl, in hunter green.

RKD has good sizing advice as my experience is the same. I wear smalls across the board and I'm at the same height as RKD, but maybe a tad heavier and wear small in Stark, but it is a slim fit that's for sure, but has stretch. I would venture to guess you could get away with small, personally. I think I could get away with a medium at my height as well with a bit more of an oversized fit without looking frumpy. If you're shorter than 5'8" though, might be too long.
