So the black Stark is the old style, with the longer body? I got one in XL and while the chest and shoulders fit perfect the body is kinda long. What colors are the new, shorter style?

is there a code for indigo and cotton?

EDIT: Nevermind, I ended up ordering size small. Hope it fits
I have similar measurements, the small is fine if you plan to wear form fitting shirts under it.

kinda long how? the stark is intended to fit long (well past waist, likely cover a good portion of your butt) and even at 6'3" I roll the sleeves over on the XL

That's pretty much exactly how mine fits, thanks! Sounds like I should stick with the XL for the new version too then.

Hey, I'm 6'3" 210 lbs, athletically built. I'm wondering if anyone can help out with sizing the Amalgam Cardigan? I'm leaning towards XL rather than L, since I don't want the fit to be too tight...but I haven't been able to try it on anywhere, I'm not sure if sizing has changed like it has for the Stark, and there just doesn't seem to be a ton of info on the Amalgam in general.

I do own the Modulo Cardigan in L, and it fit's well, but that style obviously looks better snug.

Any advice/thoughts would be much appreciated.

I'm 6'2, 195, and got an XL triple blue stark from tres bien. It runs a little long, but a think an L would have been too snug. I would think an XL would work for you, although I don't know anything about the Amalgam.

Who stocks the Amalgam? I kinda like the more toned down neck.

Picked up a large Paragon - fits pretty similar to the concrete Stark I posted earlier in the thread, maybe slightly less fitted:

What are your measurements dude?

I'm pretty sure I asked this before, but never got a satisfactory answer. Has anyone had success washing their stark to shrink it a bit? I've got one that I received all stretched out (gives its a slouchy fit whereas my other stark is more fitted).

I've heard horror stories about washing wool (shrinks too much, piling out of control etc), but I got it for a steal on sale so I don't mind experimenting a bit.

Try washing cold flat drying, then wash warm flat dry, if that doesn't work wash warm and tumble dry for about 1/4 cycle, and check on it, I succesfuly shrank my paragon a tiny  bit using the wool settings on my bosch machines.  Ruined an ervell sweater that I got frustrated with by washing hot; turned it into in iPad sleeve on the swewing machine.
