SNS Herning- fits? - Page 120

That's what I was thinking.

Do you know if they shortened the length of the stark?
I've been looking at this turtleneck, and I can't make up my mind about it. (Frans Boone). I like turtlenecks, and I think they are good for guys like me with long, skinny necks. But I wonder if it isn't too fisherman-like. Can you go too far? I'm not particular concerned if someone tries to tell me that turtlenecks (or roll necks) are no longer in style.

I assume this would be sized like the Starks?

I have never seen a fisherman wear anything, vaguely resembling anything SNS makes.

They mostly wear bright orange/yellow rain gear and very thick knits like Northsea clothing, Andersen-Andersen etc.

That's a nice turtleneck. I don't think you'll look to fisherman-y in it. I have a Tonus turtleneck in the same size as my Stark.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I will probably get it. I 'm not worried that I might be mistaken for a fisherman. I just don't want to be greeted with "Ahoy there!"

I'm 5'10" 170 lbs with a 40-41" chest. Does a Medium Stark sound good for me?
yes, that is what I wear and we are about the same size.

I think you have to wear something completely different for that to happen. wink.gif

I've really got to start browsing this forum daily.

Don't get me wrong - the triple blue stark is nice, I think some people will love that it's shorter (as much as other people will hate to see the change).

Obviously the same quality will still be there, but I love SNS' more traditional fisherman patterns and the brand's masculinity - I think it's being diluted too much with these plain knits with their mismatched cuff details. I'm possibly just disappointed they haven't released the usual sorts of stuff.

I have the full zip version and love it. It's not as long the Stark--at least, every version of Stark I've seen (including the one I own) before this season's hot topic of a new, shorter-body Stark...

Sadly for us shorter guys, it looks like the TBS is just misleading. I emailed them and they said the Stark measurements have not changed this year and quoted a Medium Stark as being 29.1 inches in length (I assume from top of collar to bottom but did not confirm).

Are you going to reply to them and confirm the length? (top of collar to bottom)

If you do, could you inform them that their picture is really misleading. I am sure people that follow S.N.S. are probably wondering the same thing that we were.

I'm short but not super short. 5'11.75". I wish I would have been 6'2" frown.gif
