I don't think they will restock the burgundy. I am really happy with mine, in burgundy smile.gif, and I get complements a lot when I wear it. Still looking for the marked cardigan frown.gif

What is your chest size? I bought the medium and I had a 42.5" chest at the time, it fit great, but I read you were planning on buying it in large.

About the same. Medium or Large would prolly do. I read many sized down.

Yeah I would go with the medium if I were you, unless you plan in getting bigger. Your 6'1" right?

anyone notice how the sleeves are getting tighter on their non-stark offerings? I can barely wear with a long sleeve shirt underneath and when I do it looks as if ive got bushes of pubes growing confused.gif

What do you guys think about the prices they put on their items? Are they fairly priced? I know this could be relative but just wanted to see what you guys think.
Great ever since I joined sf I hate just about everything I see in malls, with a few exceptions that are always ridiculously expensive.

sales man, sales. the styles pretty much stay the same from season to season with just slight variations in fabric, fit, designs. so unless you're hell bent on one piece, waiting typically yields 30-50% off. this past season I picked up a zip up sweater from Mr.P at 80% off. wasn't on the top of my SNS list but its still miles above a similarly priced substitute.

whats impressed me about SNS is how they've been able to offer the same quality all while increasing their distribution and corresponding increase in output.

Amen, the cardigan equivalent of a deep v-neck does not look good

In response to the quality question, I have been very impressed with the construction. I think I paid just a little under list price for the amalgam cardigan and feel it was was money well spent (and this from an infamous penny pincher). I wear it all the time and it is probably my first knit that has not lost shape. Weave is dense, and color very attractive. Id say they are good deal even at full price.

What's the difference between the Amalgam and the Stark? And since their webstore is not up anymore, anywhere I can go to see a more of less definitive listing of their stuff so I can stop asking these sorts of questions?

The knit is different and the Stark is longer

Yep the amalgam probably sits a couple inches shorter when being worn. The knit has a different shape and is denser. I would say it is a little warmer as well.

Thanks, very informative. Sounds like it's the Amalgam I'll have to be on the lookout for.
