It's ok. I prefer Hammer and Sickle

I actually think it's a perfect go-to vodka. I like it. Price/Quality varies depending on the country, but usually still good. Super cheap in Europe and much better than anything else in the price range, but in the US it gets to play with Goose and Ketel so I don't know.

Its my favourite vodka and its the only one i order when i go out.

Tastes great imo, i dont even like vodka that much and drink it neat. Tastes way better than smirnoff, stolichnaya, and Absolut.

Cheap, not overpriced like GG or Belvedere.

And finally, for some reason i never get hangovers from it no matter how drunk id get off it.

I get bad headaches and stuff from almost all the others (maybe not GG but not enough of a sample size there) but in like 3+ years of drinking RS i only got a hangover once, and i only drank 2 drinks then (im guessing something was wrong with the particular bottle then).

Less Wrong, but still wrong

Russki Standart blows away everything but some of the small batch limited run vodkas like Hanger One, and at the price point it can't be beat. The Platinum line is even better and makes Grey Goose/Chopin/Belvedere/ et all taste like lighter fluid.

^ what he said. I can't believe they still sell it so cheap, far and away the best I've had.

How can a statement of fact about what a person prefers be wrong? New levels of douchiness I guess...

Great vodka, as is Imperia, their more expensive one. I pay $28 for a 1.5L where I am now which blows away anything else available for the price. Most of the well known more expensive vodkas are a huge ripoff, such as GG and Belvedere. It's not that they're bad but much better can be had for the same money if not less. I'd say the best are Snow Queen, Zyr, Imperia, and Jewel of Russia, as well as one I had from Estonia whose name I can't recall.
