OK, I'm a little embarassed to admit it, but it took me almost 10 years(!) to get around to reading the copy of Barrel Fever given to me by a friend. I was about the opening story (Mike Tyson's boyfriend, 'Parade'?), but overall enjoyed the collection quite a bit. Anyone a fan? What should I read next?

Will this thread talk about Amy Sedaris at all?

I run hot and cold on him. I enjoy hearing him perform his material, but some of the writing leaves me cold. As for what next, maybe "Naked" or "Me Talk Pretty One Day." His subsequent stuff hasn't grabbed me, but maybe I haven't given it a chance. It's possible I've just had my fill.

Amy's book on housekeeping/hosting was pretty fun.

He's near the top of my list of writers I want to enjoy more than I do.

I've seen him live, and he's very very funny. His pieces for This American Life are great, especially the one where he does an impression of Billie Holiday.
