looks good, though a tiny bit shorter than I would go for... the jeans looks painful tho

Any comments on the WVs' pockets? They seem really high and probably uncomfortable to keep your hands in.

It does look short but it's still wearable. My toj ae is a bit short too but I think it still looks fine. Which reminds me I need to post a fit pic of it soon.

I'm 5'8", and I had 3/4 of an inch taken off the body and sleeves (suggested by Charly). I agree that it's probably a little too short -- I thought that it would be fine, considering my height, but I really wish I had just gone with stock now. I think the length would've been fine on a skinnier person my height, but I'm a bit pear-shaped (as you can probably tell) and the shortness only accents that.

They're pretty much impossible to put my hands in, which is a real pity, since they're warm as all hell and would be great if I could actually lift my arms up high enough to get them in. I'm sure that the problem is probably exacerbated by the leather not having fully broken in yet, but at this point, I can't really see myself doing anything with the pockets other than putting my phone/wallet in them. Jeans actually aren't as tight as the pictures would suggest. Bad angle + poor lighting really accentuates the tightness of the fit. My problem is that I have wide hips and large thighs (5'8", 33" hips), so I always have trouble finding jeans/pants that are slim, but loose enough in the top block. I think that these Somets are about as close as I've come to finding the perfect pair of jeans, but if you guys have any suggestions, by all means, please let me know.

corsairjuly, what size did you get? It does look short, however it could be the grey shirt you were wearing is too long and your jeans have a low rise.

I am also 5"8 and I ordered a stock 46. But I have 31" hips and pretty skinny thighs.

Looks great in the shoulders/chest but like others stated, probably an inch or more short for you. I definitely you can make it work at it's current length, but it might be worth getting another one if it's important to you. a longer body might mean lower pockets as well.

I ordered a size 46 with 0.75" taken off of the sleeves and body. The jeans have a low rise, and the grey shirt I'm wearing is a little longer than it should be. The problem is that when I wear shirts that are of SF-acceptable length (BoO cut, for example), they accentuate the cons of my body shape. I think that the length is good for 5'8", though. Just not a 5'8" with my frame. The shirt I'm wearing should be sitting about an inch higher, which would make the WV a good length. But like I stated above, having it sit an inch higher just doesn't look that great...

Pardon me if this is a stupid question, but are you going to make any more varsities in the near-future? I would love to buy one. I know the suede one is available, but it isn't really my thing. Thanks for any responses.

Before ordering my own WV: "Man I'm tired of seeing posts with people complaining about the wait for the jacket. Its not going to get done any faster!"

After ordering my own WV: "Man I really want to make a post about how much it sucks waiting for your jacket to be finished. Is it done yet?!"

There are no unread emails in my box and I've been refreshing emails all day. Also, I don't know who you are from your screen name.
