This week is one of those weeks where we're gonna be getting a lot of stuff out of the shop and sending it on. Peas, leathers, etc. Got some orders queued up to go in right after, and I've told them to get this duffle out soon too, I know people still want to see it. It's still like 0 degrees here so I am looking forward to finally having a winter coat to wear, since i get to wear all the fucked up samples.

It makes me wonder how anyone wouldn't want to get their jacket made in calf. The calf is so damn soft as it is, really. And it'll last longer and age better.

There is no comparison at all between the lamb and calf. Calf will indeed soften up over time and will probably outlast you, but the lamb extremely soft from the beginning and it isn't like it'll only last a couple years. I think the earlier comparisons were spot on with calf being armor and lamb being a luxury blanket. Part of the reason why I'm hoping to get another jacket is simply because I liked the lamb so much, just I don't want to be dipping into emergency funds.

Speak for yourself. Have you even handled the lamb?

I havn't handled Drew's lamb specifically, but when I have seen lamb from other manufacturers it seemed like it was a lot 'squishier,' almost like it was padded inside.

So, I suppose it definitely is softer, but you can cause abrasions with your fingernail even...

I think that the calf works really well on the bombers.

If I was going to get a bombers I'd do brown calf with shearling.

Hopefully I should have my riders in grey washed calf soon, it should be done by monday I think.

I might get a moto in reverse black calf, no zips just two hidden hand slant pockets, which would be awesome.

Maybe, I'd have to let go of my Krane bomber, which I'm still thinking about.
