The two Motos, #7 and 8, are both good true (s)Mediums for guys about 5'10 +/-2" depending on your torso/arm length (ie are you long torsoed/armed at 5'8 or short torsoed/armed at 6', it can work either way), you'd want to be 150 +/-10 or so. The two washed greys are the last two washed greys we'll probably ever make, as we've discontinued that. The harrington and original TOJ1 were the last two I had of those as well.

tee length plays a huge part in jacket length appearance

nah, someone else on sufu got covered pockets on his black Moto. I do agree longer tees work better. Quack's fit is good. It's shorter in the body as it appears but I can't see the rest of the body fit and that plays a role as well. I am kind of tired of explaining that the jackets of this style and the DR should fit where they hit the beltline, which is where Quack's fits. Too much length and you start interrupting the lower back silhouette with movement from the belt and below and that, I feel, is wrong for the style.
