I think it would be great if there was a leather care or garment care section on the unofficial site because some items (like the TOJ1) don't have tags etc and I havn't received my leather yet but I don't know if it has leather care instructions. Maybe we can share some of our ideas? I was wondering if it was ok to spray the same waterproofing you use on shoes on the leather. edit: It might also let people know that they shouldn't chuck their leathers in typical washing machines.

Got a second jacket due to some fit issues with the first one. Interactions with the ToJ crew were above-and-beyond any reasonable expectations, so yay for that.

I'm really very happy with everything; this fit is a lot more wearable for me

I'm going to be a little sad when it warms up and I have to stop wearing it.

most of the samples are now either sold or spoken for; the ones remaining are still up. I think just a couple have dibs on them but people haven't gotten back. The two Motos, #7 and 8, are both good true (s)Mediums for guys about 5'10 +/-2" depending on your torso/arm length (ie are you long torsoed/armed at 5'8 or short torsoed/armed at 6', it can work either way), you'd want to be 150 +/-10 or so. The two washed greys are the last two washed greys we'll probably ever make, as we've discontinued that. The harrington and original TOJ1 were the last two I had of those as well.

If you have something like 10 minutes (not sure how far you are from the station) I could stop by and try on the #7 grey moto. If it mostly fits I'll pay in cash on the spot it as long as it's a fair price in KRW.

Just picked up my moto. Gonna be perfect for barhopping
post #2920 of 8365
it looks really cropped. almost like a bolero
post #2921 of 8365
It hits right about waist level, probably could use an inch or so, but not worth getting rid of it over

I'd just pair it with higher-rise jeans

tee length plays a huge part in jacket length appearance
post #2924 of 8365
Am I the only one who got covered pockets? And those jackets look best with a longer tee underneath.

nah, someone else on sufu got covered pockets on his black Moto. I do agree longer tees work better. Quack's fit is good. It's shorter in the body as it appears but I can't see the rest of the body fit and that plays a role as well. I am kind of tired of explaining that the jackets of this style and the DR should fit where they hit the beltline, which is where Quack's fits. Too much length and you start interrupting the lower back silhouette with movement from the belt and below and that, I feel, is wrong for the style.
