I miss when Drew was less (but still quite) busy, and had time to mull over and just chat about clothes and possiblities. Want a bomber grey unwashed lamb. Or I have this other idea; dark red strap collar dr, quilted shoulders and elbows, flap pocket (I don't know the name for that) side zips on body, extra busy but that's the point. Or, or, or, I have so many other ideas.....

I am making a sample dress shirt as we speak and I hope it to be done sometime early next week. We can do the hidden placket and all different kinds of stuff. Club collar, spread, BD, foldback cuffs, barrel cuffs, monogramming, etc, it will all be a one-price deal I think.

Update on the washing experiment - I actually decided to wash it again, just to see what would happen (nothing drastic, just about 15 minutes, including spinning). It is completely dry now, and the leather has a nice, matte finish, and the grain is much more apparent than when it was unwashed. The leather now has that distinct It also shrank a bit, though definitely not a full size. Maybe a 1/2 size or so. It fits the same over a thin pullover as it did over a rather thick sweatshirt before it was washed, and the sleeves are slightly shorter I may need to put just a touch of conditioner on it (dunno yet, it's a tradeoff between the matte finish and the suppleness of the leather), but I'm going to just kneed the jacket a bit with my hands, and see what a few days of wear does first. Anyway, looks really sharp. I'm hoping that it will soften up a bit, but at the same time, show some wear quicker. Jitrois had some remarkable jackets in about 03 like this. Hey Drew, how about trying a cracked suede? Margiela and Jitrois both did this a while back.

Any idea on price point? Can you monogram cuffs?

Jackets still looking solid as ever..

I gotta get my sample back and get an idea of the costing per fabric and part down and then I can give a price. It'll probably be the same $125 shipped as the MTM shirts we've done so far for people, as it's the same basic process; get fabric, get buttons and collar bits, etc. We can monogram cuffs, breasts, pockets, left or right front panels, etc.

would i be good as far as timeframe goes?
