^ you got a little bit of time. we don't have our pattern library built up enough to go beyond the foundation pieces, let alone anything conceptual yet, haha. We're going a piece at a time so that we can make sure all the stuff is made the right way and not afterthoughts.
We are supposed to have a beer with Juun J sometime soon, whenever he gets back to Korea, so I am gonna pick his brain a bit, and also, I am still waiting for the day when I wake up or am taking a shower and realize I have the sneaker idea in my head, and I'll be on the plane to Italy to get those made at the magic CP sole factory...
FYI. I will definitely be ordering a harringbone peacoat early next week, just need to find some measuring tape to look at my measurements... if it is as amazing as everyone says it is, and the fit works for me... I will definitely be ordering more coats from TOJ. Interested in the trench coat you have been mentioning, but I've never owned a trench coat before... have owned a 3/4 trench, but a full trench... i'll have to see. From what I have seen from items like the Oxford shirt and the peacoat, I really enjoy the little subtle details you have placed on your items (ie leather under the collars of the peacoat, white under the collars of the Oxford shirt). I hope you continue to add these subtle details to your items you make
Razele, that's the gray DR I was thinking about myself back when gray leather was first mentioned. Can we get a pic of the fit you mentioned? Sounds dope.
I'm still working on it mate, as TOJ is my witness. I'm deffinitly noticing people are upping thier game around here significantly in the last six months or so. But that trend has really continued since sw&d started, when it was hoodies/raws/onitsukas I pretty much find myself letting go of alot of the mid market pieces, looking around for raf/jil/margiela, bit of ro, alot of bespoke and custom, couple of legit heritage pieces etc Wish I could get more prorsum access. Impossible to find online
Peacoat is in. Details are impeccable. The overall workmanship and construction feels like a step up, even from the leather jackets. The way the leather faces with the wool is something you won't see in pictures. Collar shape is aggressive and stands up the way a peacoat should. The stitching on the leather under the collar looks like trademark Juun J. Sure he didn't help you guys with this one? Fit pictures will follow, I just need to get it steamed since there's a wrinkle around the right shoulder that's making it fit awkwardly around there and this coat needs to be done justice. Also, the size small Oxford is a perfect fit for me. Sleeve length and overall cutting is just right for my frame. Could easily wear this to work too. The buttons are super nice.
mr toj, i like/love most of your work, but i have to say the moto just doesnt do it for me. I dont think i have seen a fit where the jacket doesnt look off, be it the length being too short or the shoulders, which tend to look too boxy
