Ok, I'm getting some orders in for the leathers, and I might be able to take a few more and put in an order Thursday or Friday of this week and get some going, then put the next batch in Monday or Tuesday, etc. I got the swatch book and it didn't have colors a lot of you guys may have been hoping for; my camera battery is charging so I'll throw those up soon, but it looks like as of today we have black, brown, white (? anyone ? haha), caramel, bottle green, royal blue, and a couple greys, light and dark, then a brown-y grey color that is darkest. I think these colors would actually lend themselves to a wash, to knock the shine off them and make them matte, they'd look modern. Still on the hunt for a red that suits my tastes, and some other colors people requested.

I agree, I am gonna make one in bottle green for myself as that is what I've been after this fall. I will have those sample colors up as soon as the camera charges.

No, it's actually quite muted, not as livewire as some of the electro blue stuff out these days. I am gonna try to figure out the HTML colors if people want the closest representation of the actual tone.

I don't have Riri's; I was working on a deal for black ones but it started escalating in price (over $1250 for enough to make 20 jackets, and I'm not sure I'll even like them if the deal does go through, as I got them in M8's but maybe should've mixed my gauges better) and blah blah, it's not a good scene with Riri right now. On my black jackets, right now, I have YKK lift-nose pull zippers that are every bit as good as Riri's, you have my word on it, and I have them in the exact mix and match needed for the jackets; a two-way #10 for the front main, open-end #10's for the cuffs, and open end #7's with smaller pulls for pockets.
This is seriously difficult, to put the right zippers together and make them work, in my situation. Beggars do as I, and hope the good stuff shows up piecemeal (which it did, for black, so far) and choosers spend thousands of dollars to get bulk orders at once, which isn't feasible for me right now, especially since I want to bring the jackets out a certain price (and I think $475-495 for a jacket of this caliber is INSANE)
I am gonna try to sort something out with Lampo now that I know my colors, but I'm gonna say this definitively: Made in Japan YKK's of the lift-nose pull type I'm using here are just as good as Riris and cost just about the same too, they are top quality and there are not many equals. YKK gets pigeonholed because they make 90% of the world's zippers and they mostly fall into the average grade category, but these are about the best the company makes, and European designers used them too (i.e MMM on the 5 zip, etc) If i could have my cake, I'd get Riris in every color, every size, etc, but I live in Seoul and Riris have to come to me from Switzerland and are insanely expensive when you start ordering 500 $15-20 zippers at a time. Just not a great look for me when I am trying to get these jackets out quickly at fair prices.

I'll take your word on it.

ok, a fwe catch-up pics... the three small plaid choices I think are suitable for the G'Harrington (the red is my favorite and the classic, obviously, but just a tad smaller so it's a bit different) what do you call it... Royal Stewart? or something. Scottish people school me. Next, a few of the other lamb colors (pending zipper availability for each) colors are fairly true but the blue came out a bit darker, and it's lighter in the sunlight. There's a darker grey, a lighter grey, a white, a green, a royal blue, and then a dark brown-y grey. Pics of the Double Rider's with the lapels snapped down (the first set I think the lapels weren't snapped down)

The blue and the green are both beautiful.

I agree, I think the blue, the grey, or the green would lend themselves to all 3 styles well. Now to find zippers that match...
