There is never a good reason to put $5 in the jukebox and subject the crowd/staff to 15 minutes of Angry White Guy music. If you can't go a couple of hours without getting your Slipknot on, just sit on your porch and drink Busch Light, please.

Throwing $5 in the jukebox and cueing up Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod ten times back-to-back is a great way to make an exit from a D-bag bar.

I'm not sure anyone was supposed to get Fishbone.

Any time you punch up rap in a white blue collar joint or death metal in a black joint of any persuasion, you have made a bad choice.

Is "Jesus Built My Hotrod" angry? That's just funny.

Best exit from a douche bar - the slave/prison field song from the O Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack. 5 minutes of hammering rocks and chanting.

Back in the 1990s, there was this little bar in a 'burb of Detroit (Taylor, more commonly referred to as "Tailor-tucky"), and the beer was $1.50 a full pitcher, with a $2.00 lunch plate of home made hamburger, home cut fries, home made soup...the owner's wife did all this home made stuff everyday, so was a great lunch spot.

Anyways, I'd go in and play Bush, PJ, AIC, etc. Drove the rednecks crazy.

I was in a campus pool hall when some well-intentioned geeks plugged in Elton John's Island Girl. We were playing straight pool (race to 100) and I was leading at 25 and mildly drunk when that song started. We playe through six or seven repeats of that song before the game was over and we left without further ado.
