I'm 25 this year and on a cheap budget. Traveling in Europe is $$$ enough. I'm gonna be spending close to 1,500-2,000 CAD just for the trip alone....if all the clothes there are 200-300 on average, I might as well skip the shopping part! But I do like Zara, their clothes fit me very well because i'm tall and slim!!!

Thanks for the suggestions.

I remember that Santa Eulalia and Bel & Cia were very good stores on the Passeig de Gracia.

Hotels, restaurants, shops etc.? Advice is most appreciated. Thank you!

Where to start with the hotels? What kind of budget are you thinking? Have a look at this list of Barcelona hotels to see what suits your pocket.
Then I can help you with some personal recommendations.
Cheers.

Any five star should be under $300 I like the Mandarin a lot more than the W but those are two of the more popular ones. Not sure if it's under $300 during the summer but Sept it should be down a bit. As for food I would say budget a bit more if you want nicer places. Day trips depends on what you like. Let me know and I'll respond here.
