B5 is the classic. Do that one first. Although I don't know why meatball is in their version.

B 5, 7, or 9.

BTW: That is not the only Vietnamese sub in town.

B5 intrigues me - it seems to include "meat" which is always an adventure especially when paired with "meat ball".

Point taken - but I'm only downtown today.

I just had one of these fuckers the other day. Best sandwich eva. Forgot the name of the place, but on Baxter st. in Chinatown, NY. Amazing. But if you take one home, the car smells like a giant fart.

B7 is thit nuong. B4 is, well, meatball.

Yes, but it's probably a wannabe version. I've never had good banh mi xiu mai in the states (the meat is usually too dried out, and not enough sauce). Best I ever had was from this little shop in Da Lat. Piping hot meatballs in a perfectly airy and crunchy bread. Warmed my soul on cold days. Ahhh...memories...

OK - this turned out to be very good. I had the B5. The questionable 'meatball' was probably pork and beef and very moist; the other meat was grilled pork. It also included some vietnamese coldcuts which were pleasant enough. Lots of pickled vegetables, sriracha mayo, cilantro, all in a baguette-like bun. I'm definitely a fan
