I think I found out reading an Ed post. It sounds like "going Jersey on your ass" would be a good statement equivalent.

I love this thread because I've have had both a goatee and a soul patch in the past.
(Ok, I had the soul patch for two days as a lark when getting rid of my goatee. But I think it still gets me in the double-low-class club.)
As for the goatee, which I had at various times in my teens, twenties, and thirties, it mostly had to do with (1) getting tired of shaving; and (2) not really being able to grow a full beard because my cheeks only get this Dylan-esque scraggly growth. Looks better on Connery than it did on me, though.

I think I'm going to grow one back, after reading this thread.

Maybe you're right.

By the way, kid, I hope you give up your cigarette-smoking habit before it causes problems. Problems like the walnut-sized inoperable tumors that the doctor found in my mom's lungs, or my dad's middle-of-the-night fatal heart attack when he was in his early forties. Or my elderly next-door neighbor losing control of her bowels and vomiting green bile in her final hours of life, after a futile battle against lung cancer. Cigarette smokers, all of 'em.

Patently scary.

Women who do their hair, nails, and/or hair but let the rest of their bodies go to shit. White people with dreads. The unibrow Female mustaches T-shirts with douchebag sayings and/or bedazzling.

I lol'd. I was just thinking the same thing today when I saw some chubby douche wearing a Christian Audigier bedazzled T-Shirt.

That "people of Wal-Mart" web site has a photo of a dude wearing a t-shirt with a list of "things that make my dick hard" printed on the front.
