This Might Get Loud

Anyone else seen this movie? Went with my 16 year old last night and it was friggin unbelievable. It's a documentary about a meet up between Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White. Goes into a lot of detail about their respective backgrounds.

It's really a documentary about the electric guitar told from the perspective of three pretty gifted players with completely different styles who played in completely different eras.

Extremely well done. Not your standard follow-them-around-with-a-hand-cam type documentary. Has some really weird and interesting elements (I won't spoil it).

Who else has seen this?

I've seen it, it wasn't bad but i did find it kind of boring. I think if your into guitar's themselves you will like it more. It was really just 3 guys talking about Guitars for a while. Jack White was definately the most interesting, Edge is the most dull and Page is the middle ground.

I've always thought Edge was god awful, and Jack White is the biggest Jeffrey Lee Pierce ripoff douche. I'm not a huge zeppelin fan either, but Page is by far my favorite of those three. It's probably a nice excuse to see a bunch of Gretsches anyways
