this marinade works for steak (hanger, flank, skirt) or chicken (breasts, thighs)
in a pan, sautee:
1 crushed clove garlic
2 tbspn sriracha
1 tbspn fresh basil
1 tbspn rice wine vinegar
1 tspn sesame oil
1 tspn soy sauce
fry 4-5 basil leaves in veg oil for about :30. remove from pot and sprinkle over your chicken or steak.
i usually serve this with asparagus or broccoli
steak marinades:
2 tbspn lemon juice
1 tsnp oregano
3 tbspn olive oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
pour over the steak in a freezer bag for 2 hrs or so before grilling
chicken with seasoned steel cut oatmeal breading
dip chicken in egg wash then place in a bowl of:
3 tbspn steel cut oats
1 tspn cayenne pepper
1 tspn salt
1 tspn pepper
1 tspn paprika
1 tspn onion powder
1 tspn garlic powder
sautee in 2 tbspns olive oil (very little carb yield as you're not using much oatmeal)
chicken or tilapia franchese-like dish(minus breading)
