this marinade works for steak (hanger, flank, skirt) or chicken (breasts, thighs)

in a pan, sautee:
1 crushed clove garlic
2 tbspn sriracha
1 tbspn fresh basil
1 tbspn rice wine vinegar
1 tspn sesame oil
1 tspn soy sauce

fry 4-5 basil leaves in veg oil for about :30. remove from pot and sprinkle over your chicken or steak.
i usually serve this with asparagus or broccoli

steak marinades:
2 tbspn lemon juice
1 tsnp oregano
3 tbspn olive oil
2 cloves crushed garlic

pour over the steak in a freezer bag for 2 hrs or so before grilling

chicken with seasoned steel cut oatmeal breading

dip chicken in egg wash then place in a bowl of:

3 tbspn steel cut oats
1 tspn cayenne pepper
1 tspn salt
1 tspn pepper
1 tspn paprika
1 tspn onion powder
1 tspn garlic powder

sautee in 2 tbspns olive oil (very little carb yield as you're not using much oatmeal)

chicken or tilapia franchese-like dish(minus breading)

in a pan, sear a chicken breast, then remove.

add to the pan:

2 tspns chicken stock, 2 tbspns lemon, 2 cloves garlic, 1 shot of white wine (burn it off, obviously) and 1 tbspn butter. once it gets going, add the chicken back on top. serve with smashed caluiflower

Good thread to start Kunk. My favorite low carb recipe:

Liberally salt foie with large grain sea salt and pepper (both sides.) Melt unsalted butter in cast iron skillet. When pan is hot, drop in foie. Sear about two minutes per side.

My wife has been doing a Thai peanut chicken recipe for me, with natural (no carb) peanut butter. I'll post that later.

Here's a current favorite. Pound out some chicken breasts, not quite scallopini thin, but pound down the thick portion that every breast has. Smear homemade pesto (fresh picked basil leaves, toasted pine nuts, garlic, salt, pepper, parm cheese, extra virgin olive oil in a food processor) and let sit in freezer bag overnight. When you're ready to grill the chicken breasts, slice some zucs length wise. Olive oil, garlic salt, pepper to taste.

Toss chicken and zucs on the grill. Enjoy.
