I have a Zegna blazer I purchased at Saks in size 36S that fits quite well. This one obviously isn't "Short", but I was thinking perhaps I could get it shortened about an inch and a half or so (to 30" or 30.5"), but I've never done that before. What do you think?

Also, opinions on double back vents?

I like this 2B double vent suit. The pants are single pleated which is my favorite for a suit, and it looks like Navy. Its the one to get, but if you wear S instead of R, I would not get this, even though it mught be the suit you been looking for. Certainly you can get it hemmed, but it might throw off the proportion to the pockets and such. The nice suit might be no more. It might be tempting, but wait for a suit that will fit you better.

It's the Zegna "Soft" line, so it's not the best stuff around. It's not worth the BIN price and certainly doesn't retail for $1,395
