Do you have threshold? Is there a point at which you say, "I'm drunk enough." Does it depend on the occasion/day/etc.?

I feel ill before I get drunk these days. That puts a stop to it. I haven't been drunk in years.

2-3 generous pours on a good night. The key to getting sloppy and avoiding a hangover is to drink on an empty stomach, then gorge on leftover mac & cheese until you're sober. I make mine with aged cheddar, mustard powder and hot sauce. Then, you can either drink more (this is a heavy commitment due to all the cheese in your stomach) or pass out.

I've always been of the persuasion that one should never eat when drinking heavily. It defeats the purpose of being able to drink as much as possible.

BTW. do you make your mac and cheese with Siracha? It is quite heavenly. Mustard powder is new to me. I should try that- course ground?

I remember how I used to make Krafts mac and cheese w/ a can of tuna and forzen peas and a lot of siracha. It was glorious.
