Gold hits 999 today

So the dollar had dropped a bit but gold has jumped to 999. What do see causing this? Is it sustainable?

just a guess: volatility in the market, from the poor job reports, sparked a flight to quality. gold will probably stay up there.

I dunno, but I've been pwning the market as of late. After being waaaaay down, my investments are now up 45% year-to-date, and I'm completely liquid as of Tuesday.
