I have owned a bunch of N-series phones and now use the e-71. They are underrated in the U.S. and you cant really go wrong with any Nokia.

I haven't been impressed with the most recent series of Nokias. The touchscreens they've been using suck and the features aren't up to par with what some other manufacturers are offering. That said, if I had to pick a manufacturer to roll the dice with I'd go Nokia. Aren't you using a beater Nokia now?

I had three Nokia and all had problems. From screens going black to crashing while sending SMS.

no, that was just a temp phone while my Blackberry Pearl was being fixed. The BB has been back in twice more since then, and is playing up again today, so I am contemplating my options.
