Opera 10

Anyone using it? I just got it for Ubuntu 9.04. Made me realize just how much of a bloated, slow mess Firefox 3.0 is on this operating system.

Even plays flash videos fullscreen a little better.

I'll probably miss my FF extensions, but I have to say, Opera is speedy and nice.

I use Opera when Safari isn't supported. I used to like my Firefox extensions, but it was always too glitchy in the Mac OS.

Yeah, glitchy as hell in this distro of Linux too.

I use Opera as my secondary browser. Have too many awesome extensions in FF to leave it. I upgraded to v10 yesterday but haven't really played around with it as yet. If I ever visit my sister, I'll be able to test out the turbo mode as she has really shitty, basic broadband that's barely faster than dial-up. Heard it leaves bad compression artifacts on images though.

does not play nicely with Facebook messenger...keeps jamming up on me. Back to Firefox.

I've been using Opera a little bit since the buggy firefox 3.5.

I am liking it generally. I like the look and feel, and it seems quick. Have the Facebook messenger issue above - it really hates that. Also, I hate the way that it default opens links in new tabs in the foreground...I know it is just another key to add in to the shortcut, but still, prefer those to open in the back.

Only been using it 2 days now but so far I love it. Don't know about the facebook issue since I don't have facebook. Only time will tell though how much I end up missing my Firefox plugins.

I've been finding it slower than FF, but perhaps that is due to adblock and such cutting back on extra crap loading.

Opera mini is good though.
