Strange popping feeling

Recently at the gym i've been having this really strange feeling when lifting with my right shoulder/pec, on this particular machine (basically a dumbell fly with the bench to add support) on a weight i find easy, then my pec starts doing like this virbrating thing, and my shoulder joint feels like something is popping out, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I've had no serious problems or injuries to my shoulder it just randomly starting occuring one day at the gym and now keeps recurring after about the 9th rep of a 12 rep set.

I'd get shoulder instability checked out. It could be a multitude of things.

I would also recommend warming up by doing rotator cuff exercises using light weights before you do chest/shoulder workouts.

What kind of doctor/health professional would one want to talk to about this sort of thing? Sport medicine doctor? Physiotherapist?

aslong as we're on the topic... anyone ever get spasms / random twitch/contraction of a thin muscle on your left side right near the heart?

You've probably been working out your shoulder too much without touching your stabalizing muscles.

In the joyful bliss that is nationalised healthcare (it really isn't that bad) I will probably have to get an appointment with my general doctor, then he'll make an initial diagnosis and refer me on to a specialist of his choice for further diagnosis and treatment.
