Jeez, same here when I was reading / collecting heavily, 1980 to ~83.

Did anyone pick up comics today? I got Spider-Man 606, Dark Reign The List: X-Men, Dark X-Men: The Confession, New Avengers 57, Uncanny X-Men 515, and Wolverine: Old Man Logan Giant Issue. Read Uncanny, which was meh up until the end. Big reveal. Part of the way through New Avengers. The artwork is fantastic and I like the way the story is heading. And for the McNiven fans, the conclusion of Old Man Logan is out... finally. Should have some great artwork.

I wish I had a budget dedicated solely to comic books. Alas, I am not in high school any longer. Perhaps I will start browsing the shops next month. And McNiven for the win. Always.

^ I know, I know. I find it to be such a hassle though. I prefer having the pages right in front of me where I can physically handle them. You do mean torrents, yes?

Si senor. The torrentz are the way to go. Buy the special editions when they come out to support the author.

Strangely enough, that's how I read it as well.

Holy shit.

For any McNiven and/or Wolverine fans... Pick up the Old Man Logan finale. It's fucking awesome. Seriously, it's intense.

Transmetropolitan

The Invisibles (and pretty much anything written by Grant Morrison)

Sandman

Anything inked by Alex Ross.

That's all I can think of right now.
