I was wondered what your opinion is about this loafer:

I might get a pair for a good price. I will remove the upper lace, because I don't like that. The seller will also have a pair available in a darker shade (parisian brown).

It's a John Lobb "Foxton" from the 2006 prestige range.

Not my cup of tea. Seems like Lobb trying to do Gucci or soemthing? And with Lobb offering so many new beautiful Prestiege models such as the Welham and the Sutton, I would put my dollars into those.

It looks great, though I'd love to see an actual photo of someone wearing it.

I agree with AP. Those shoes look very wrong.

Looks like one of those horrid Italian shoes you'd find at Macy's or JC Penney.

It's like somewhere between Gucci and Mantellassi, in other words completely not Lobb's sensibility.

I don't hate them but I wouldn't have guessed them to be Lobbs.

It doesn't work for me, too many elements, too experimental. If they're the 2006 special edition, they've wasted a year.

If you want a JL loafer, I suggest Ashley.

Personally, I don't like this style of the stitching stopping before meeting at the toe. Very Berluti-esque.

Thanks LK, its Koji Suzuki bespoke. I'm currently in the process of getting on his wait list, which last time I checked was just over two years.

Good god, that is an awfully long time. His shoes look like they might be worth the wait.
