The Ugas are all relatively long-lived for bulldogs. I saw one article that said the average service time for an Uga is nine years, which is amazing given the average bulldog's life expectancy is only 8-10 years.
Is that really how UT dogs keep dying? One would think they'd build a fence.

I agree. Uga's death made the front page of both the local Athens paper and the Atlanta paper, and it has become the topic du jour
for everyone I know with any connection at all to UGA. Part of me keeps thinking "man, this is ridiculous," and it is. However, there's also something pretty cool about it.
