A fairly important rule of travel is that the bag shouldn't weigh more than the contents of the bag, and with all the brass fittings on this bag, it's got to weigh a ton, empty!
RE: the Louis Vuitton bag... although I don't feel one should encourage the counterfeiting of merchandise, if you are in NYC, you can frequently find a "replica" of that bag, fairly well made and with genuine leather fittings and trim, for $30-40 on the street and, so it isn't really a counterfeit, with XL rather than VL as the logo.
RE: Billingham... I've used a Billingham Hadley for the past 20 years or so, and they are really styish, tough and versatile. Designed as a camera bag, the padded inserts are removable, leaving a roomy colonial-style shoulder bag.
