More like, "do you have a good travel experience"... actually, I geuss that would be a rather short thread.

Is this one of those euphemism threads? Like, do you want to hear about bad acid trips?

I was once on a plane that accidentally backed into another plane when pushing away from the gate. Whoops. That led to a four-hour comedy that included confused computers and Dick Cheney.

But by far my worst experience was my fault - I failed to book a room in Galway during a bank holiday weekend when I was travelling on my own in Ireland. I ended up finding the last bed in the city, at a hostel. I was in an eight-person room, which would normally be fine.

Except the other seven inhabitants were men ranging in age from 20-55. I am a twenty-something woman.

I was more than a little skeeved out, mostly because the men, while possibly quite nice, all seemed to be drunk the entire time and smelled like wet wool. I stayed out of the room as late as I could handle, and then laid on my (thankfully top) bunk with my eyes open until about 5AM, when the showers were unlocked. I took the quickest shower in history and raced out to wait for the bus to the ferry to the Aran Islands.

I have a bad travel experience every time those halfwit TSA jerks screen me. The ones at JFK are the worst.

In contrast, the security personnel in Incheon International are very nice.

Not even an international five-star hotel?
