Freshman Orientation - Page 2

Go get a cell phone plan with unlimited text message, you will need it if you ever hook up with anyone...

I have seen girls from Fordham, some have potentials (though not so sure about classy, but hi, it's COLLEGE, why would you care).

-Get cellphone
-Get unlimited text
-Txt the fuck out of your new friends to know what is going on
-Move on/near campus so you can participate in impromptu debauchery
-Dress how you like but stop judging others, concentrate on banging them instead (those that turn you on, be ready to have low standards at first, a BJ is a BJ).
-Get on FB and add the fuck out of people so, once again, you're in the loop.
-Try to get good drugs hookups, your newfound mates will love you for it.
-Don't wear a tie or some other gay shit.
-Practice drinking in front of the TV so you don't end up puking on everyone while crying like a little bitch.

This.

And let me repeat what others have said: MOVE ONTO OR NEXT TO CAMPUS. It does not matter how much it costs, college from home is 100% suck.

Yeah, today was much, much better. I guess it was mostly my anger from not having a phone and first-day-anxiety that made me post this (stupid) rant. So, yes, thank you to all who posted in this thread, funny comments and all. Keep it coming.

I read through the OP, all I can say is STFU and grow the hell up. If you want to be miserable for the rest of your life keep judging everyone; just remember people are judging you too... I went to orientation with an open mind. I dressed like I always do (chelsea boots, skinny jeans, wax coated denim jacket) made some friends, and got a lot of girls numbers. You sure as hell are not going to make it through college with such a cynical attitude. My suggestion is to talk to as many people as possible. If you're waiting outside of a building for class, talk to the attractive girls nearby, etc ... Remember, a lot of students are in the same situation, esp if it is a school that draws students from out of town.

College should be where one develops cynicism.

That's not until sophomore year.

As you practice what has been preached on this thread, do not forget to mention to girls where you got the advice from. They will think it's wonderful that you take the initiative to learn about style and seek advice from people on the internet. Great success will follow.

YES. +10000 ffs OP lighten up. I know coming to college is stressful and shit but remember: none of this shit really matters. Lighten up and have fun. I know I've judged people and they've turned out completely different. Blonde girl with too much make-up? Could be an airhead, or could be a really nice girl. Examples abound. Try to hold your liquor. - a sophomore (it feels weird to say that)
