Peal & Company Brooks Brothers Shoes - Page 13

Well, the inside of the shoe says 341.  They are the Peal & Co Horween shell cordovan bluchers. Five weeks old now and they feel and look great.

Perfect will be ordering during next sale. I have the SWB from them and they are on the 240 last which does not fit me too well.

To clarify my question regarding sizing: I know that 10D US (9.5E UK per BB's conversion chart) fits me in this shoe/last.  So once I confirm the last of these, am I safe ordering this size in this last of any C&J shoe?  Or is BB/Peal sizing not consistent with "regular" C&J, even on the same last?

I'm usually a full size down from U.S. to UK for C&J. I'm a Brannock US 9D and take a UK 8E in all of my C&Js so far. With RL Marlows I take a snug 8.5D in the wingtips, loafers, and tassels. I only had one experience with the Brooks Brothers Captoe Cordovan boot and it was too big in my Brannock size. I imagine a US. 8.5D would have fit me. All of my Allen Edmonds are size 9D and the 108 last fits me best.

Hi. Could someone tell me who manufactures these Peal & Co branded chelsea boots and what last are they on?

Thank you!

I think that BB only uses Sargent 87 last.

Nevermind - found my answer much earlier in this thread: Apparently they are C&J Bostons with a different penny hole.

Now I just have to wonder if they are the cavalry calf C&J uses (which is, from what I've seen, a lower quality leather) or the calfskin I would normally expect...
