Looks with Flip Flops

Before anyone throws a fit about flip flops, I'm relegated to wearing them for about a week b/c of bursitis in my ankle, which makes it very painful to have anything touching the back of my heel.

So besides wearing shorts, what are some looks I can wear with flip flops. I tried putting on jeans, but it just looks weird with straight/slim jeans. And I'm not going to buy a new set of footwear just for this injury either b/c that just seems wasteful.

Was going to crack jokes, but good luck with your injury. Maybe try pale slim chinos & an aloha shirt.

Anything you pair with sandals is going to be casual, there's really no way around it. Also, I don't think wearing straight legs with sandals is that bad.

Cuffing the jeans might help them look more natural, also the hems won't get so grimy.

I'd just wear shorts, I can't think of a fit I've seen with flip flops and long pants looking good together.

Maybe some broken-in chinos rolled up a bit?

Did you change your username Uncontrol? I liked it better before.

You mention flares lol. Check out Uncontrol's recent WAYWT fit. I'd say it involves flares

I honestly thought it was you lol. Pale chinos are good with flip flops, just make sure they aren't dragging.
