Yup. Almost everything out there will boil down to whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats, lots of fruits and veggies, and everything else in moderation.
Having said that,
this sports nutrition book
is pretty popular with athletes and coaches, albeit somewhat basic. Worth skimming at the local bookstore.
