Oppinions on color for my car.

So I have been working on a 1965 Ford Thunderbird and finally got her running. Know it needs a paint job. Im stumped on what color to paint it though. I have thought of Red or Black but interested in other ideas. Some im interested to hear what you think would be a good color. Here is what my car looks like(not my pic)

I know it's cliche but candy apple red? Or black cherry?

Candy Apple red is one ive been thinking of. Black Cherry though is a very interesting idea. Thats a great suggestion. Thank You.

What color is the interior? I like red on this car for the exterior.

I would go with trying to match one of the colors it came in originally. P.S. That looks FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTASTIC!!!

Interior is a lightish blue but interior is going to need a little work. The body paint color has been faded alot but this is the color it was.

I remember that model Thunderbird very well as a kid.

What size V-8 did it have? And is it an automatic?

Its a 390 and automatic. I was impressed by the features it has. Its got power seats, power windows and other cool little features.

White would work with the interior color and show off the chrome. I'd go with that or a repaint in the original color. Red is as overdone on US classics as it is on Ferraris - I wish we could put some sort of 10-year moratorium on them.
