I'm curious to know what I could do to improve each:

The suit: This was my first "real" suit, in that it didn't come from a thrift store or eBay. When I got it a year ago, I took it to a tailor to have it fitted, but I didn't know what to ask for (I think I asked him to take in the jacket a little at the sides). I thought it fit me pretty well, but then I discovered Style Forum... Now, when I put it on, it feels almost baggy, and way boxier than I'd like. I don't know how much of this is the fit and how much is just the way it's cut (or lack thereof -- it's of the cheaper ones from Jos. A. Bank). In particular, I'm more convinced than ever that the jacket is too long. I'm 5'11", and the salesman insisted that the regular length jacket looked too short on me, so I bought a long instead. Is it worth taking back to a tailor to have re-fit, or is it beyond help?

[Sorry for the second post -- I ran into my image attachment limit on the first]

The shirt: this was my first Mytailor.com MTM shirt (measured by Joe Hemrajani himself), and I'm pretty happy with it. This is after one wash, in the dryer for a few minutes then air-dried. But, I've never had a shirt that fit perfectly, so I'm not sure whether the next one could be even better with some slight changes. I'll definitely be ordering more shirts from Mytailor, so what should I change, fit-wise?

I think the suit looks fine considering it is what it is, though the shoulders seem a bit too wide, and from the back, the sleeves look too billowy.

The shirt I think could use more work: the shoulders seem too wide, and the waist area definitely has too much fabric and does not flatter your body. There may also be too much fabric in the arms.

In the images where your legs are together, the cloth area around your groin crumples up.

Doesn't look right. Unless you were happy to see the camera.

The suit looks fine. I would suggest that the money you might spend altering it further would be better put toward another suit that you like better.

The shirt shoulders are not too wide. The sleeves could perhaps be a little shorter and the cuffs a little tighter ... but you say it's only been washed once, so maybe this is fine. Also I would ask for smaller armholes on the next one.

Shirt seems to fit fine, love the color but the left sleeve on the suit is too long.

in the back view, are you standing at attention like a soldier? it should be a normal stance.
the vent is opening, because the back is too long at the top.

the shirt should be untucked for a critique.
