That's a relief! I ordered flapped patch pockets on my latest blazer from Chan (Lesser 12-ounce flannel) that should be arriving in a couple of weeks. It's nice to have to approval of one of the forum culture's most eminent authorities, and besides, I don't want make Baby Jesus cry!
I would very much like to get blazer buttons enameled with the crest of Balliol College if I could, but to best of my knowledge, no such buttons are available. Anyway, I think this cool-weather blazer should leave me maxed out for blazers for awhile. I specified the H&S enameled buttons with the three fleurs de lys on a blue shield and the red chevron. (Excuse my failure to use proper heraldic terminology like "azure," "gules," etc., but I'd just make a hash of it!)
