Kite Flying

I saw some people flying kites around "Japan"town in San Jose this past weekend and now I can't get it off my mind. I really want to fly kites?

I have an acquaintance who I believe quit his professional (but small-time) job to open a kite store. Kites seem to dominate his life. To me it's a bit like a grown man getting excited about model cars.

I like to fly kites with my kds a few times a year. its fun, but not exactly a big part of my life

Nothing wrong with that. I have fond memories of flying a very large kite on a hill near my house with my sister.
