This is one of those things that truly makes a difference in understanding calories, nutrition, why you're too fat or too skinny or whatever.

I remember the first time I used fitday, I was shocked - it gives you a whole new outlook on being active or eating right. I know it's not entirely accurate, but it definitely helps to get you thinking the right way.

Also, it's kinda funny to see how your entire calorie deficit while cutting gets eaten away by alcohol and a handful of peanuts

I use http://caloriecount.about.com. Tracks your calorie burn and nutrition count. Enter your recipes and it'll give you a calorie per serving and nutritional data and rating.

Does daily burn have any of the popular ethnic dishes or fast food? It pisses me off that fitday doesn't have certain things that everyone eats once a week at least.

I used those for a while, and still do to some extent. However, I already know that I run a major surplus due to frequent alcohol consumption, so I now focus on being way more active and making the majority of my meals at least somewhat healthy.

Yeah, I think it's important to do it for at least a period of time just to see how your eating habits and working out habits match up, and go from there..

I've learned things that I never knew before.
