Is R-22 made to Masterpiece Standards? I have a pebble blucher from Ferragamos I like very much, but bals might be even cooler: http://www.benniesshoes.com/Merchant...ry_Code=Size10

For size 12, you have 3 slots (R7, R9, R10), but no pictures.

Hi Chris,

Just picked up the R10 Grenson's in size 12D. Do you know what model they are or what line they came from?

Thanks.

So you're the one who snagged my size 12D! You must have picked it up about 4 hours ago, while I was at the gym. Is it a loafer? The only shoes left in size 12 are loafers.

That's OK, the tax man visited me over the weekend. You're helping me exercise restraint.

Sorry Thinman, the pics finally posted around 10am CST.The shoes are a British tan or light brown oxford with a commando sole. Having also felt the Taxman's wrath this weekend I thought about it a bit before purchasing, especially since I had just purchased a pair of the A. Sargent chukkas on sale at Orvis. But glad I could be of help in the restraint dept.

If it's a bal rather than a blucher, I wouldn't have bought anyway. Enjoy!!

I'm looking forward to receiving my two pairs of Masterpieces later this week.

If you're curious, I think its the same as the only shoe left at Bennie's in size 13. Looks like a Blucher to me, but definitely not a Masterpiece. Were there many 12s in the first group? Were there any boots? Kind of curious since by the time I got in all the 12s were gone.

I was looking primarily for boots, monkstraps, anything in suede, and a brown loafer, so I missed out on my first choice loafer, with the butterfly front (spent time looking at size 12s rather than 11.5, which is my loafer size). But I did manage to get a brown Stowe wholecut (chestnut?) as a companion to the black Stowe I already own and a brown loafer. Here are pics, based on my memory and shoes still available in other sizes when I thought to save pictures:

If the loafer is antiqued as it appears on my monitor, I think I'll be very pleased.

I still need those winter boots, but I have about 7 months to shop.

saint, there are a number of 13s left, but they're all fine-looking shoes. Enjoy your catch!
