Harvard vs. Stanford.

The CEO appears at your desk with two folders in his hand. He says, "the ball is in your hands now." He says, in each of those folders there are 10 people we will hire. The catch? You must choose only one folder. One Folder has 10 people from Stanford, the other has 10 people from Harvard. You don't know anything about GPAs, extra curriculars, leadership positions, or any other qualifications that may assist you in this process. All you know are their schools.

HARVARD

...OR

STANFORD?

The answer hinges on these two questions: (a) do you expect them to do any real work, and (b) do you expect them to stick around for more than a year?

This is why nearly all subordinates come from Brown.

How do you constantly mange to come up with the most asinine posts? Spend more time spying on your roommate or boosting that shitty 3.7+ GPA of yours.

I think I'd take Stanford and the points.

In my experience, I would choose the Stanford without much thought. There are a few I would choose above Stanford, and several I would choose after Stanford before I got to Harvard. I haven't done much interviewing in several years, but I can't imagine things have changed that much.

Harvard, duh. East Coast elitism always trumps West Coast elitism.

I can't imagine ever being in this situation in the first place. Nobody seems to give a shit once you start working, your managers just want results whether you went to Harvard, Stanford, or Miami Beach Community College.

Ann Hathaway.

If ever Ann Hathaway were the correct answer to a question, this is it.

My criterion is their mode of dress and musical tastes.
